Bohemian Hand Painted Jewelry Box, Black and Multi Color

This beauty was a labor of love for me, as a lover of art, color and all things bohemian I was inspired by a beautiful chair I found on Pinterest, I'll post a pic.  Layers and layers of paint, decoupage of textures, transfers of art and hand painting went into this explosion of art and color a feast for the bohemian eye! 

The exterior consists of many pieces of printed art, some on tissue which gives it a leathery finish and feel after it has been sealed.  Transfer art and days of hand painting the design on its top.  

The interior was completely stripped, cleaned and sanitized before painting and relining with the beautiful deep royal blue velvet.  There are 4 drawers, 3 with compartments and a large tray under the lid.  The lid itself has a large mirror that spans the length and with of the lid itself.  The doors have hooks for long hanging and the bottom of the doors are also lined with velvet to keep it from ever scratching the surface it rests on.  Beautiful crystal and silver knobs were added to give it just a touch of sparkle.

Overall measurements are 15.5" x 13" x 8"deep.  This beauty and been artfully decorated on all sides so the back will reflect it's bohemian personality if it's put in front of a mirror.  Even the bottom has bee painted.
