This is by far one of the best made jewelry boxes I've had the pleasure of re-styling. The Thomas Museum Series is a sturdy, heavy MDF wood box covered in a cherry wood veneer. But as a furniture re-styler I see all things as a canvas for art. Sure, cherry wood veneer has a place in decor, however, French Country gives us the cozy comfort and soothing elegant style we all crave.

This "noble protector of your fine jewelry" is lined in black velvet, has 7 drawers, a top tray and 8 hooks for necklaces on the inside of the lid with a velvet pouch to catch your pendants. 2 of the drawers have velvet compartments and the whole bottom drawer is line with ring roles.

This piece was painted with a few coats of non-toxic and NO-VOC's clay based paint from the DIY paint product line and French Country Toile applique' applied and sealed in. I chose Vintage Linen and a custom Gray for color to give it a soft feminine vibe and to keep it neutral enough to blend in with any decor, including boho, farmhouse, country, southern, etc.
