I had so much fun restyling this denim jacket! I fondly look back to my childhood growing up in the 70's, when everything from my perspective was about funky music, bell bottom jeans, drawing or stitching the words "Love, Peace and Peace signs" on everything. Though the 70's have come and gone, it was an era that left an impression on my soul. Every now and then when "Play that Funky Music White Boy" comes through the playlist, I immediately jump into dancing, smiling and just remembering back to the "good old days just being a kid".
Most everything I do in art, whether it be sewing, painting or jewelry making, the 70's will come through. Simple life, no responsibilities and just hanging out with my friends listening to KFRC AM radio, the 70's always bring a smile to this California native.
